What’s new? In line with the announcement of the new Alola season, Niantic finally revealed more details about the upcoming Community Day. It will take place in March featuring the mouse Pokémon Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew. Additionally, there are the special moves Night Slash and Dark Claw that the Pokémon can learn.

C-Day in March 2022 – All Info
When does it start? The Community Day with Sandshrew will take place on Sunday, March 13, 2022. The dates for the C-Days in March, April, and May have already been announced by Niantic. On March 13, the event will again run from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, just as you are used to.
Which Pokémon are there? Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew. Both can be caught in their shiny form with some luck. In the graphic, you can see how the shiny Pokémon differ from the normal version.

What special moves are available? If you evolve Sandshrew during the event or up to two hours later into Sandslash, Sandslash will learn the charge move Night Slash. It deals 50 damage in trainer battles, raids, and gym battles.
If you evolve Alolan Sandshrew during the event or up to two hours later into Alolan Sandslash, then Alolan Sandslash will learn the fast move Dark Claw. It deals 6 damage in trainer battles and 9 damage in raids and gym battles.
What event bonuses are there? During the event, a bonus will affect your eggs in the incubators. If you place eggs in incubators during the Sandshrew C-Day, they will hatch four times faster. Additionally, lures and incense will last for three hours and you will receive surprise encounters from snapshots.
What do we know about the 1€ ticket? As always, there is also a ticket available in the shop for about 1€ to unlock a special research. This time it is called “Sand and Snow” and refers to the two Sandshrew forms. Generally, you are supposed to catch and send a certain amount of Pokémon and land special throws to be rewarded. Event boxes: In the shop, you will find a box for 1280 coins that provides you with 50 Ultra Balls, 3 Super Incubators, 5 Lucky Eggs, and a charged TM. There is also a free box with 30 Ultra Balls.
