The Community Day in March 2024 in Pokémon GO is known: Flamiau will be the star of the day. What you can expect will be revealed here.
When does the Community Day with Flamiau take place? The event runs on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
What kind of event is this? Community Days take place in Pokémon GO every month. This day always brings a specific Pokémon that you can find all over the game during the event period. This time it is Flamiau: The fire starter from the 7th generation, which evolves into Miezunder (also fire) and Fuegro (fire/dark).
Additionally, you will always have a significantly improved chance of getting a shiny variant of the event monster, as well as various bonuses that make the day interesting. The Flamiau Day is the first Community Day of the new season “World Full of Wonders”:

Get shiny Flamiau: During the Community Day, you have a very good chance of getting the shiny form of Flamiau – and it is worth it. Flamiau has one of the most striking shiny forms in Pokémon GO, which carries through its evolutions as well. This should be particularly interesting for shiny collectors:
As for battles, Flamiau is currently not top monsters. Fuegro appears on the list of best dark-type attackers, but there are stronger options.
Other bonuses for the Community Day:
- Fuegro learns the move “Blazing Eruption” when you evolve Miezunder during the event.
- Fuegro’s special move “Dark Lariat” will also be available and can be learned from the event.
- You get triple XP for catching.
- There are double candy for catching.
- Lure modules and incense will last for three hours during the event.
- You will have double the chance for XL candies when catching starting from level 31.
- There are surprises with snapshots.
- An additional special trade per day is possible.
- Trading costs only half the stardust.
- Showcases will take place with Flamiau.
Additionally, there will be a research for about one euro in the shop centered around Flamiau.
After the event, you can also expect the now familiar level 4 raids from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. There you will encounter Miezunder. If you defeat it, more Flamiau will spawn around the arena for 30 minutes with an increased shiny chance.
