The Pokémon for the Community Day in July 2022 in Pokémon GO is finally announced. We at MeinMMO show you which monster you can look forward to and what bonuses await you.
What event is it about? Every month, there is a Community Day in Pokémon Go, where a specific Pokémon takes the spotlight. It is now known that you can look forward to the Normal and Flying-type Pokémon Staralili in July. It will even celebrate its shiny debut in the game.
What else to expect on this day and when exactly it takes place is summarized for you below.
The Community Day in July 2022 with Staralili – Start and Bonuses
When does the event take place? The C-Day runs on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time.
What are the bonuses? Of course, you can encounter countless Staralili during the event. But the event has more bonuses in store for you:
- 3x XP for catching
- Double candies when catching
- Double chance for XL candies when you catch Staralili
- Incense and lures last for 3 hours
- Surprises from snapshots
- Trading costs only half of the regular stardust
- An additional special trade (a total of 3 in a day) up to 5 hours after the event
- Special attack Wind Gust when you evolve Staravia to Staraptor up to 5 hours after the event
- Event stickers from gifts and PokéStops
- Group bonuses
- 4x catch XP for 30 minutes if many monsters are caught using lures at a stop
Shop bonuses: The in-game shop also has a special feature for you:
- Event ticket for the special research “Field Notes: Staralili” for 1 Euro
Special Raid Bonus after the Community Day with Staralili
As you already know from the Community Day with Kapuno in June, there will be a special raid bonus after the C-Day with Staralili as well. From 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time, you can encounter Staravia, the evolution of Staralili, in level 4 raids. You can earn the following bonuses:
- After winning a raid, Staralili will spawn for 30 minutes in a radius of 300 meters around the gym
- The shiny rate is the same as on Community Day
What to consider? As in the level 4 raids against Duodino, you can only participate in the raids on-site with the help of raid passes or premium raid passes. Remote raids are not possible.
The Pokémon Staralili – Evolutions and Shiny
Staralili is a Normal and Flying-type Pokémon from Generation 4. It evolves from Staravia to Staraptor.
Can you catch Shiny Staralili? Yes, you can encounter a shiny Staralili for the first time during the C-Day. You can recognize it by its slightly lighter, brownish body.
