In Pokémon GO you can look forward to a Community Day with eF-eM in February. When the event starts and what bonuses you can expect are summarized below by MeinMMO.
What event is it about? Every month, Niantic holds a so-called Community Day where a specific Pokémon is highlighted and can be found almost everywhere. The event is also enhanced by an increased shiny rate and special bonuses.
After Pokémon GO already announced in recent weeks when the upcoming C-Days will take place, the contents for the C-Day in February have now also been released. You can look forward to the flying and dragon Pokémon eF-eM.
All content and bonuses for the Community Day with eF-eM
When does the event run? The Community Day with eF-eM takes place on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Since the small purple monster is usually not that common in the game, you should mark this date bold in your calendar.
Exclusive attack: For the Community Day in February, the evolution of the event Pokémon can again learn a special attack. If you evolve eF-eM during the event or up to 5 hours after, by 10:00 PM local time at the latest, UHaFnir will learn the attack Sonic Boom.
This causes 150 damage in trainer battles and 140 damage in gym battles and raids to your opponent.
Are there any further bonuses? Yes, during the Community Day you can also look forward to plenty of bonuses. You can expect the following content during the event:
- Incense and lure modules last 3 hours (except daily adventure incense)
- triple stardust for catching
- double candy for catching
- double chance for XL candy when catching (from level 31)
- surprises when you take snapshots
- C-Day stickers at the PokéStop and in gifts
From 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time, you can also expect:
- one additional special trade (maximum 2 on that day)
- 50% less stardust cost when trading
Shop content: The in-game shop also has a few special offers in store for you:
- Special research “Sonic Waves” about eF-eM for just under 1 Euro
- Event stickers for the Community Day with eF-eM
Special raids: After the actual Community Day, another highlight is planned. As you already know from the last months, there will also be special level 4 raids in February following the event.
In these, you can battle eF-eM from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. However, this is only possible on-site using raid passes or premium battle passes. Unfortunately, participation from a distance is not possible.
In return, you will receive not only the defeated eF-eM from the raid as a reward, but you will also unlock additional eF-eM spawns in the vicinity of the gym for 30 minutes. The shiny rate will be the same as on the actual Community Day.
