In Pokémon GO the C-Day with Staralili has just passed, and there are already speculations about the Community Day in August. We at MeinMMO have looked at which monsters are highly favored by trainers.
What kind of event is it about? Every month, a Community Day takes place in Pokémon GO, during which a specific monster is highlighted for 3 hours. On July 17th, you could encounter the Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon Staralili.
But after the Community Day is known, the trainers on reddit are already thinking about what kind of Pokémon they might expect on August 13th. Below, we show which monsters the trainers suspect.
This dragon is suspected by trainers for the next C-Day
Even though the date for the Community Day in August has been known for a while, Niantic is still withholding official information about the contents. Therefore, trainers on reddit cannot resist speculating about possible candidates already.
Several posts on this topic can be found there, with one monster being repeatedly mentioned: Dratini.
Why do trainers suspect Dratini? The reason for this suspicion includes a vote conducted by Niantic before the pandemic. You could vote for three C-Days in 2020 among four Pokémon with a special event move each and determine which monster you want to see.
As reddit user skewtr shows in their post, a large number of monsters that lost the voting have received their own Community Day after 2020. Therefore, only Dratini, Schiggy, (Alola-) Sleima, and Raupy are still open.

Therefore, some trainers are certain that Dratini must eventually be next, and suspect the Pokémon will be part of the Community Day in August.
Reactions from trainers: User ItsArk has also heard rumors in his reddit post about a Dratini event and writes: “There are rumors that the next Community Day will be DRATINI, I really hope this is true. What do you think about it?”.
Dratini is a Dragon-type Pokémon from the first generation and can evolve into Dragonir and then into Dragoran, which is one of the best dragon attackers in the game. Furthermore, dragons are not often found in Pokémon GO, making them very desirable to players, especially because of the Platinum medal.
