The Pokémon GO Community Day in April 2021 is now officially announced. The event will focus on the Grass-type Pokémon Serpifeu.
When will the April Community Day take place? The Community Day in April will be on Sunday, April 11, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time). This gives you again, as usual, six hours to catch the event monster.
This Pokémon is included: The event monster for the Community Day in April is Serpifeu from the Unova region. It is the Grass-type starter of the fifth generation.
Serpifeu evolves into Efoserp and Serpiroyal. The shiny variant will also be available to catch during the Community Day. However, this form has already appeared during the Unova event in January. Shiny Serpifeu can be recognized by its bluish coloring.
The bonuses of the Community Day in April 2021
This is what to expect on the April Community Day: As the event monster of the day, Serpifeu will appear significantly more frequently than usual. Additionally, the shiny rate of the monster has been improved.
You have a good chance of catching a shiny Serpifeu. At the same time, the spawns will allow you to easily collect the necessary candies for its evolutions.
The following bonuses will apply:
- If you evolve Serpifeu’s second stage Efoserp into Serpiroyal during the event period (or up to two hours afterward), it will learn the powerful move Flora Statue. This move has also been learned by the previous Grass-type starters during Community Day.
- There will be triple catch Stardust.
- Incense will last for three hours during the event.
- There will be a Community Day Box for 1280 PokéCoins, containing 50 Ultra Balls, 4 Star Pieces, 4 Mossy Lures, and a Charged TM.
In addition to the bonuses, there will be a “surprise” during snapshots. You may also see a Serpifeu jumping into the frame. Additionally, there will be special research for the event monster, which can be purchased for one euro.
However, it’s still quite a while until April. Now the weather week in Pokémon GO starts first.
