In Pokémon GO the Community Day with Mudkip is over, but many players are disappointed with the event. They complain about poor spawns and few Mudkip.
What was the problem? Normally, a Community Day is always full of event Pokémon and the special Pokémon mostly spawns for 3 hours.
In the event with Mudkip, this was also the case, but the Mudkip spawns were significantly lower than usual. Much more other Pokémon could be found and the spawns were noticeably different.
Big problems during the Community Day or was it intentional?
This is what players say: On Reddit there are several posts saying that the spawns were significantly worse. Especially Pokémon with weather bonuses displaced the Mudkip.

Are there also positive voices? Some players cannot confirm these observations. It seems to have mainly depended on the weather. In places where it was sunny, many Pokémon with weather bonuses appeared, which displaced the spawns of Mudkip.
However, there are also some voices from regions where it rained during that time. There, Mudkip was in abundance. Other weather conditions also did not affect the spawns as drastically.
Was this a mistake by Niantic? This cannot be assumed. After there were serious problems with the weather during the Community Day with Slaking, which is why it returned for a weekend, this issue is currently rather small.
It seems that Niantic is reducing the spawns during a Community Day again, after they were significantly increased during the last Community Days.
Could the Community Day be repeated? So far, there are no news from Niantic about this. After all, every region had to deal with the same problems, and the spawns were not completely changed, as was the case with Slaking.
So, a repetition is not likely at this time. However, Niantic may change the spawns again for the next Community Day in August, and you might encounter more event Pokémon.
