What kind of ticket is this? On each Community Day, Pokémon GO provides you with a special paid research task. This revolves around the specific monster that is the focus of that day.
Even for the Community Day Classic with Bulbasaur, you can find such an event ticket, behind which the special research is named “Community Day Classic with Bulbasaur”. We will show you which quests and rewards are included, so you can decide whether you want to secure this research.
How do you get the ticket? To secure the special research for Bulbasaur, you can purchase a special event ticket in the game for about €1. In your in-game shop, you will find the “worldwide events” section below the boxes. The corresponding ticket is stored here.
If there is no ticket or one under a different name at this point, restart your game once. Afterwards, the correct ticket should be available.

Is the event ticket for Bulbasaur worth it?
In the rewards of the special research, you can expect some interesting items, such as a Rocket Radar, two smokes, a Star Piece, and plenty of balls. Overall, the value of the items is significantly higher than the purchase price of nearly €1 that you had to pay for the ticket.
- A Rocket Radar regularly costs 200 Poké Coins in the in-game shop, which is about €2.
- 2 smokes can be obtained in the game for a total of 80 Poké Coins, which corresponds to about €0.80.
- A Star Piece can be purchased for 100 Poké Coins in the shop, which is equivalent to about €1.
Moreover, the special task offers you the chance to replenish your stock of Mega Energy and collect some Stardust and XP.
This research is especially worthwhile for trainers who would have bought these items in the shop anyway or urgently need Mega Energy. These come with the ticket, cheaper compared to the in-game shop. However, if you have no interest in the rewards, you can comfortably play the Community Day Classic with Bulbasaur even without purchasing the special research.
