In Pokémon GO there are major changes to spawn points. Many new locations where Pokémon appear have been added, but some points have also been removed.
What has changed? Every Pokémon in the game appears at fixed spawn points. At these points, a Pokémon appears every hour at the same time. However, these points have now changed.
This means that you will now find Pokémon in different locations as well. The changes have also caused discontent, as many spawn points have simply been removed.
The new spawn points and their effects
How significant are the changes? According to early reports, almost every spawn point seems to be affected. Either many new points have appeared around the old spawn points, or the point has been completely removed.
After initially only very positive reports surfaced, there are now also some negative voices. Some cities have lost hundreds of spawns.
Some new spawn points were added in May, but these changes were not as significant.
Where the most has changed: There are various reports about changed cluster spawns. These are locations where several spawn points are located next to each other and where you can collect Stardust particularly easily. Kifett reports on Reddit: “Every one of our cluster spawns in our city has been removed!”
How are players reacting? The community is divided. One part is excited about the many new spawns in their locations, while the other part is angry because they have lost many spawns.
