In Pokémon GO there are adjustments to the daily gift boxes in the shop. Selected trainers will now receive altered rewards.
This was announced: Via Twitter , the Niantic support team announced: “Trainers, from March 12, we will test a change in item variety in the daily free box for a randomly selected small number of users.”
Some trainers will therefore receive different items from the free box. This is intended to be a first test that could potentially be implemented for all trainers in the future.
More variety in daily gifts
Which gifts are involved? Every day you can go to the in-game shop and collect a free box. It usually contains 2-4 items that you can use daily. This includes berries, potions, or balls.
You can currently claim the box once a day, and the items change slightly every day. However, the overall variety remains low.
However, larger gifts are also regularly available in Pokémon GO. These include remote raid passes, which are distributed every week. So make sure to check the shop regularly and secure free items there.
What could change now? So far, there have been no reports from affected trainers that they are now getting completely different items from their box.
However, it could be that selected trainers may at least bag a few different items in the future. Options could include silver pinap berries or golden rasberries. Whether premium items that one would otherwise have to purchase will also end up in the box remains questionable.
Am I also affected? Check your daily box for that. It is likely that for German players, it will only change starting tomorrow, March 12. See if there is an item in your box that you have not received before. If so, you may be among the lucky testers.
