In Pokémon GO the “Día de Muertos” event starts in November, which is an event for the Day of the Dead. There will be special spawns, a chance for Shinies, a battle day, and other bonuses. We provide you with all the information in the overview.
What kind of event is this? This year, Pokémon GO celebrates the Day of the Dead with players around the world. In previous years, these were regionally limited events, as the holiday is mainly celebrated in Mexico and other parts of America.
This year, the entire community can participate, and Niantic has come up with some bonuses for this.
“Día de Muertos” Event – All Content, Bonuses, Pokémon
When does it start? The event starts on Monday, November 1 at 10:00 AM local time. It ends on November 2 at 10:00 PM local time.
What bonuses are there? You will receive double Stardust for catching Pokémon during the event. Additionally, your Lure Modules and Incense will last for 90 minutes.
Additionally, a battle day of the GO League starts on November 1, where you can earn quadruple Stardust for victories.
Which Pokémon will spawn? In the wild, you can find Tragosso, Sonnkern, Kramurx, Hunduster, Zobiris, Roselia, Sonnflora, Driftlo, and Makabaja. All specimens, except for Sonnflora, have a chance to be Shiny.
Gifts: If you visit the shop during the short event, you will receive a free event box and an avatar T-shirt.

Incense and Lure Modules: When you activate Incense or Lure Modules, they attract the following Pokémon: Tragosso, Sonnkern, Sonnflora, Kramurx, Hunduster, Zobiris, Driftlon, Alolan Marowak, Makabaja.
Research: Through field research, you will encounter Tragosso, Sonnkern, Roselia, and Alolan Marowak.
