In Pokémon GO, a pattern has been discovered that is said to make catching a Dragonite easier.
Rare Pokémon are popular in Pokémon GO and are sought after by trainers. Unlike Pidgey, a Dragonite does not appear on every 5th blade of grass and wants to be caught by you. Comments are piling up on Reddit, confirming that Dragonite often appears near a specific Pokémon.
Where does Dragonite spawn in Pokémon GO?
According to users in the subreddit TheSilphRoad, they have found that Dragonite is often caught near Clefairy spawns. The TheSilphRoad subreddit specializes in a detailed analysis of game data. In a recent thread, a user claimed that the appearance of Dragonite often occurs near Clefairy nests/habitats. In the comments, there was prompt confirmation: “I can confirm that Dragonite spawns near Clefairy. The only place I have seen Dragonite is the same place where I farm Clefairy.”
He added a picture to his comment and said that only 2 of the Dragonite in his collection came through evolution. He caught the rest in the Clefairy area. Following this analysis, other users reported that they have now caught Dragonite thanks to this tip (Reddit thread by Cryomancerr). The chance of a spawn of the dragon is said to be relatively low, with about 200 Clefairy leading to 1 Dragonite.
According to PokémonGOHub, Dragonite typically spawns in elevated areas such as hills or mountains – Clefairy also often spawns there.
