Today, on November 10th, the Community Day in Pokémon GO is happening! Take this unique opportunity to catch Shiny Cyndaquil.
Today’s Community Day revolves around the Fire starter Cyndaquil. Players can use a Star Piece to gain six times the Stardust for catching Pokémon. Four times the experience points for catching Pokémon are possible with a Lucky Egg.
When does the Community Day start? The Community Day runs today from 11 AM for three hours, ending at 2 PM. Players will then have an additional hour to evolve a Typhlosion with Overheat.
First Shiny Catches of the Community Day in November
In Asia and Australia, the Community Day took place earlier this night. Trainers were excited about the huge amount of Stardust and many shiny Cyndaquil.
On Reddit, “Vinsanity9“, a player from New Zealand, shared one of the first caught shiny Cyndaquil.
High Shiny Rate: As with every Community Day, the chance of a shiny Cyndaquil is increased today. It is approximately 1 in 25, as is the case with every Community Day. All information about this special event can be found in our guide:
Server Issues: During the Community Day in Asia and Australia, many players reported server issues and had trouble getting into the game. The Pokémon GO team apologized for this on Twitter and extended the Community Day in those regions by two hours. The server issues were then resolved. Here in Germany, players can also play without any problems again.
On Twitter, many players thanked the team and shared pictures of their shiny catches as tweets.
