In Pokémon GO today, on November 6, the Cartoon Week starts! There are new quests, special spawns, and a lot of bonuses. We provide the overview.
When does the Cartoon Week run? This event starts on November 6 at 8:00 AM German time. It runs until November 12 at 10:00 PM. So you have a week to take advantage of the bonuses.
Much of the event revolves around the anime “Pokémon Journeys: The Series.” Therefore, Pokémon that appear in the anime will show up in the game. Additionally, Goh makes his debut – he is one of the characters in the series alongside Ash.
All Information about the Cartoon Week
These bonuses are available: There is a lot to discover this week. The list of bonuses is long:
- Pikachu with a World Tour cap appears in the wild – even as a Shiny
- Additionally, the following Pokémon appear in the wild: Bulbasaur, Hoothoot, Gible, Scyther, Dratini, Cyndaquil, and more
- From the 7 km eggs, Pichu, Mantyke, Riolu, and Gible hatch
- There are limited research tasks for you to complete
- The character Goh appears in snapshots and you can buy avatar items inspired by Goh.
What does the Pikachu look like? This Pikachu is already known from the Spotlight Hour in October. It first appeared as this Hat Pikachu. Now it appears for the 2nd time in Pokémon GO.
What can be said about the spawns? No new Shiny has been announced so far. Niantic mentioned that with luck, you can catch a Shiny Gible, but it has already been available as a Shiny before.
However, you can snag some Shinies if you are lucky. All previously listed Pokémon can also appear in Shiny form.
For Scyther, you can even hope for a good chance of getting a Shiny. It belongs to the monsters that have increased Shiny chances.
Is the event worth it? For Shiny hunters, the Cartoon Week is probably interesting. However, really rare or special Pokémon do not appear in this event – at least they have not been announced so far.
We will inform you on MeinMMO at the start of the event about what actually happens in the event and which monsters really appear.
Until then, even PvP haters can look forward to the GO Battle Night:
