Be careful when tickets for the Safari event in Oberhausen are offered to you for sale. Purchased tickets from other players will not grant you access to the Pokémon GO event at CentrO Oberhausen.
In just a few days, the Pokémon GO Safari event starts at CentrO Oberhausen. Anyone wishing to participate in this special event within the shopping center needs a ticket.
The shopping center is now warning about players wanting to sell their tickets. No transfer or resale is allowed. You cannot participate in the event with tickets purchased from other players.
Safari in Centro – Buying tickets is a waste of money
On September 16, 2017, a Pokémon GO Safari event will take place at the “CentrO” shopping center in Oberhausen. Participants of the event will have access to special PokéStops equipped with lure modules in CentrO.
Rare Pokémon like Kangaskhan or Unown are waiting for you there. Additionally, there are special 2km eggs.
All players need a ticket for the event if they want to participate in the Safari Zone. Initially, 4000 tickets were distributed. During the distribution, many players felt unfairly treated and expressed their anger with insults online.
Meanwhile, the situation has calmed down a bit. This is certainly also related to the 250 tickets that CentrO made available in a special raffle.
Organizer advises against purchasing tickets – No access granted
The limited availability of tickets attracts many people looking to profit from them. But don’t fall for the ticket sellers, because you won’t get access to the event.
On Facebook, CentrO writes that the transfer of tickets is not possible. And because such transfers are not allowed, you gain nothing from a purchase. The tickets are personalized and cannot be redeemed by other individuals.
Some trainers report in the comments that they will travel to Oberhausen even without a ticket. Even without a ticket, there is a chance at rare Pokémon. While you probably won’t receive a medal or special 2km eggs, many trainers are willing to make the journey for rare monsters in their collection.
The raid eggs with countdown are back – This has resulted in mixed reactions among Pokémon GO players. Many see only disadvantages.
