In Pokémon GO, the Sinnoh Tour brought all Pokémon from Sinnoh and Hisui. All Pokémon? No! A selection of nearly 9 Pokémon continues to stay away from the Pokédex. Which ones are they?
This is what happened in Pokémon GO: Last February weekend, the big Sinnoh Tour took place. It was the fourth “Tour” event in Pokémon GO, following the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn Tours.
During the Sinnoh Tour, the focus was also on the Pokémon from the Hisui region, which is essentially the same: Hisui is the ancient form of Sinnoh that we know from the game “Legends: Arceus.” The region brought some new Pokémon forms and evolutions that were also present during the Sinnoh Tour.
However, the Sinnoh Tour did not bring all the monsters from its regions. There are still empty slots in the Pokédex that need to be filled. Which Pokémon from Sinnoh and Hisui still have to make their debut in Pokémon GO?
Three Monsters from Sinnoh – Phione, Manaphy, Arceus

Which Pokémon are missing from Sinnoh? Here trainers are missing three different monsters.
- Phione is a mysterious water Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. It could be obtained in Pearl and Diamond by hatching a Manaphy egg.
- Manaphy is also a mysterious water-type Pokémon. It is the only mysterious Pokémon capable of laying an egg – from which Phione hatches.
- Arceus: This is the most important Pokémon that players currently miss. Arceus is the literal Pokémon god that created the Pokémon world in the legends. It has the special ability to assume the types of the respective plate given to it. Players have been waiting forever for Arceus, and some expected it to debut during the Sinnoh Tour. Now it is speculated that it might be the case at GO Fest 2024 – but that is currently completely open.
At least the true Pokémon god is already in Pokémon GO:
Six Monsters from Hisui, One with Two Forms
Who else is missing from the Hisui region? Here stands a new Pokémon along with some special forms still on the list of missing monsters:

- Salmagnis is a water-ghost Pokémon from the Hisui region, which evolves from Barschuft in the main games – but only from the white-lined one! This special Barschuft actually debuted during the Sinnoh Tour, but Salmagnis couldn’t be developed from it yet. Its debut is likely just a matter of time. There is a male and a female form that visually differ significantly.
- Hisui-Dressella is the regional form of the normal Dressella, which evolves from Lilminip. It belongs to the fighting and plant types and appears in Legends: Arceus as one of the bosses that must be defeated during the game.
- Hisui-Zorua and Zoroark: The shapeshifter Zorua debuted in 2022 in Pokémon GO with a special mechanic. Its Hisui form is described in the Pokédex as being plagued by hatred and resentment. Instead of being a dark type, the Hisui form is a normal/ghost type, and its evolution Zoroark as well.
- Hisui-Viscargot and Viscogon: In Hisui, Viscargot gained the steel type in addition to the usual dragon type. The same applies to its evolution Hisui-Viscogon.
When the missing Pokémon will appear is still completely open – just like the form of the release. It is to be expected that Arceus will have a bigger event. It is possible that Manaphy and Phione may debut at the same time.
As for the Hisui forms, we have to wait and see, although some of the Hisui evolutions in the past have appeared as raid monsters instead of evolving from the normal versions.
