In Pokémon GO a new event has started, bringing new Ultra Beasts into the game. We have looked into how strong they are for you.
What kind of event is this? The new event Ultradimensions-Wonder
started today, on May 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM. It will run until May 28, 2024, at 8:00 PM. You can find all the information about the event here.
As part of the event, there are 3 new Ultra Beasts that have made their way into the game. We have looked at which ones they are and how strong they are for you.
Agoyon in Pokémon GO – This is what the new monster can do
These are the stats: To give you a rough overview of Agoyon, we present the stats and moves of the Pokémon:
- Types: Poison and Dragon
- Attack value: 263
- Defense value: 159
- HP value: 177
- Fast moves: Poison Jab (Poison), Air Slash (Flying)
- Charged moves: Dragon Pulse (Dragon), Sludge Bomb (Poison), Bug Buzz (Bug), Acrobatics (Flying)
This is how strong Agoyon will be: As a Dragon attacker, Agoyon will probably not play a significant role. On one hand, the competition from Pokémon of this type is very high, and on the other hand, unfortunately, Agoyon does not have a Fast move of the Dragon type.
When considering Agoyon as a Poison attacker, the situation is different. With the move combination of Poison Jab and Sludge Bomb and its stat values, it resembles Gengar, which is among the best Poison attackers. Therefore, Agoyon will find its justification here.
In terms of its use in the Battle League, Agoyon will not perform well either. Although its Poison moves are optimal against Fairy Pokémon, it also has the Dragon type. This negates the advantage the Pokémon would have against Fairy Pokémon.
This is how you can obtain Agoyon: Agoyon is the evolution of Venicro, which you could obtain at the start of the current season. To evolve Venicro, you need 200 Venicro candies. Additionally, you have to catch 20 Dragon-type Pokémon while having Venicro as your buddy.

Muramura in Pokémon GO – This is what the new monster can do
These are the stats: Below you will find the stats of Muramura to give you a rough overview of the Pokémon’s strength:
- Types: Rock and Steel
- Attack value: 213
- Defense value: 298
- HP value: 156
- Fast moves: Rock Throw (Rock), Body Slam (Normal)
- Charged moves: Stone Edge (Rock), Flash Cannon (Steel), Steamroller (Ground)
This is how strong Muramura will be: Neither as a Rock attacker nor as a Steel attacker does Muramura stand out. Although it has a high defense value, its relatively low attack value unfortunately is a drawback. Here, you should rely on other Pokémon.
Additionally, to be a full-fledged Steel attacker, Muramura is lacking a Steel-type Fast move.
In the Battle League, it is advisable to avoid using Muramura as well. Due to the CP it has when caught, it could only be used in the Ultra or Master League. And for this, there are better Pokémon.
This is how you can obtain Muramura: Muramura is currently available in the eastern hemisphere in 5* raids. If you want to obtain the Pokémon, you can keep an eye out for it in your surroundings and challenge it.
Before you head into the raid, you should prepare if possible and bring the best counters against Muramura.
Kopplosio in Pokémon GO – This is what the new monster can do
These are the stats: We have also compiled the stats and moves for Kopplosio. They are as follows:
- Types: Fire and Ghost
- Attack value: 315
- Defense value: 148
- HP value: 142
- Fast moves: Astonish (Ghost), Incinerate (Fire)
- Charged moves: Shadow Ball (Ghost), Overheat (Fire), Fiery Dance (Fire)
This is how strong Kopplosio will be: Kopplosio has a move combination that allows the Pokémon to function as both a Fire and a Ghost attacker. It also has a very high attack value, making Kopplosio viable in raids.
As a Fire attacker, with the combination Incinerate and Fiery Dance, you maximize the Fire damage you can deal. This puts it on a similar level to Shadow Charizard or Shadow Moltres in terms of damage.
Due to its relatively low defensive values, it is not among the best Fire attackers, but it can still be used if you are missing strong damage-dealing attackers in your Fire team.
If you play Kopplosio with the moves Astonish and Shadow Ball, you get a very solid Ghost attacker. In terms of pure damage, Kopplosio even outperforms Giratina (Origin Form) and will rank just below it in the list of the best Pokémon GO attackers.
In the Battle League, Kopplosio, like the other two new Ultra Beasts, does not play a significant role either. It can only be used in the Ultra and Master League, where there are significantly better alternatives.
This is how you can obtain Kopplosio: Kopplosio can currently only be found in the western hemisphere in 5* raids. To obtain the Pokémon, you will need to be invited to remote raids by trainers in the western hemisphere. It helps to find friends worldwide in Pokémon GO.
