In Pokémon GO, the second part of the Hyper Bonus begins. We will show you all the highlights.
When does the Hyper Bonus run? It starts on July 25 at 10:00 AM. It ends on Tuesday, July 30, at 8:00 PM.
What kind of event is this? The Hyper Bonus, Part 2, is themed “Strength of Steel”. Accordingly, everything revolves around Steel Pokémon. But there are a few other bonuses as well.
What are the bonuses? The big highlight for many will be the triple catch Stardust. This is really worth it because Stardust is something you always need, for leveling for example, or if you want to teach your Pokémon new moves.
Additionally, you will receive extra catch XL candies and a higher chance of XL candies with nice, great, and superb throws. The XL candy bonuses apply only to trainers from level 31. You will also get extra regular candies with nice, great, and superb throws.
Moreover, Togedamaru makes its Shiny debut. But there are also other exciting monsters. We will show you the highlights.
6 Pokémon you should catch during the Hyper Bonus
Here we show you some of the most interesting monsters that can be worthwhile for you. Especially now, where there are better chances for XL candies, you should try to find good specimens here.
Tanhel: Tanhel evolves into Metagross – one of the best Pokémon you can have in Pokémon GO. It ranks among the top Steel attackers and also has its place in the Battle League. You can find it in the wild and as a Field Research reward.
Panzaeron: A very strong Pokémon in the Super League but also in the Hyper League. You might encounter it in the wild or in level 1 Raid battles.
Alola Sandan: You can evolve this into Alola Sandamer. It is a good Pokémon for the Super League. Alola Sandan appears in the wild during the event.
Galar-Flunschlik: A top Pokémon for the Super League. You will also encounter it in the wild.
Onix: Evolves into Steelix, which has good chances of winning in the Super League and Hyper League. You can also find Steelix directly in level 3 Raids while the Hyper Bonus is running. In Field Research, you can also obtain Mega Energy for Steelix.
Togedamaru: It is not particularly strong, but since Togedamaru can be caught as Shiny for the first time, you should try to catch this new shiny monster. You will find it in the wild, in level 1 Raids, and in Field Research.
Furthermore, a lot of other Steel Pokémon will appear. Overall, you have a good chance to catch strong monsters and a lot of Stardust while the Hyper Bonus is running. By the way: On Sunday, the third part of the Hyper Bonus will take place: There, the Raid Day with Mega Lucario starts.
