At the start of the new season, the event Pokémon Horizons: The Series
awaits you in Pokémon GO, bringing you cool new monsters and characters. We have summarized for you here on MeinMMO what other content to expect from the event.
Which event is it about? In Pokémon GO, the new season World Full of Wonders
is already on the starting blocks and brings you right at the beginning the event Pokémon Horizons: The Series
. This is a collaboration with the television series of the same name, which can be found on the Toggo television channel.
In this series, the two main characters Liko and Rory explore the Paldea region. Especially the starter Pokémon Felori, Kwaks, and Krokel play a crucial role, which is why you can also catch them during the event in Pokémon GO. Additionally, three new monsters will make their debut. We will show you what spawns and bonuses are also planned below.
When does the Pokémon Horizons: The Series
event take place? The event for Pokémon Horizons: The Series
starts on March 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time and is active until March 11, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time.
Knarbon, Crimanzo, and Azuglaris celebrate their debut
What kind of Pokémon are they? During the Horizons event, you can encounter Knarbon for the first time. It is a Fire-type Pokémon from the Paldea region, which can evolve into either Crimanzo or Azuglaris. To trigger the evolution, you must take it as your buddy and battle either 30 Psychic-type or 30 Ghost-type Pokémon, depending on which evolution you want.
How to get Knarbon? To secure the new Pokémon, you need to hatch eggs diligently. It hides among other monsters during the event in the 2-, 5-, and 10-km eggs. Afterwards, you can still find it in the 10-km eggs. Unfortunately, it is not available as a Shiny for now.
Further debuts in the game
Costumed Pikachu: Another monster that you can find for the first time in a new disguise is Pikachu. For the event, it wears a captain’s hat and also learns the exclusive move Volt Tackle
.
New characters: In keeping with the series, the two main characters will also play a role during the event. You can encounter Liko and Rory in snapshots.

In addition to the new Pokémon and characters, you can also encounter familiar monsters during the event. And there will also be one or two bonuses available.
