The last Hyperbonus was announced in Pokémon GO. And it brings you back 2 really good monsters.
What is the Hyperbonus? At this year’s GO Fest, trainers who purchased a ticket had to successfully complete a certain number of hourly global challenges. The Hyperbonus events were already announced in the lead-up.
Now there are concrete details about the third and final event in the series. It will take place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. And it brings you back 2 really strong Pokémon.
Primal Raid Day brings back coveted Primal Pokémon
Which Pokémon are available in the event? During the event, you can find, challenge, and catch Dialga and Palkia in their primal forms in raids. You can also obtain both dragons in their shiny forms, and the chance is additionally increased. Both Pokémon are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
While both monsters are suitable as dragon attackers, you can additionally play primal Dialga as a steel attacker.
Do they have the adventure effects? Yes, both monsters can, if you’re lucky, also master the respective moves that you can use as adventure effects. For primal Dialga, this is the move Timespace Distortion, and for primal Palkia, it’s the Spatial Rend.
The two adventure effects are moves that you can also use outside of battles. For this, you need to use 5,000 Stardust and 5 candies of the respective Pokémon.
The Timespace Distortion of primal Dialga ensures that the effects of the items Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Eggs, and Star Pieces are extended by 6 minutes. You can use the effect as often in a row as you like. The maximum duration of the effect is 24 hours.
If you use Spatial Rend from primal Palkia, the radius in which you can catch wild Pokémon increases for 10 minutes. This effect is also stackable up to a maximum of 24 hours.
What bonuses are there in the event? Additionally, you can look forward to the following bonuses during the event:
- up to 5 additional free Raid Passes by spinning the photo disks at gyms
- increased chance for the shiny variant of both monsters
- 50% more experience points for raid battles
- increased chance for XL Candy when you complete raids on-site (from level 31)
- the limit for remote raids is increased to 20 (from Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 PM to Monday, August 11, 2025, at 5:00 AM)
Event Ticket: For $4.99 (about €5), you can also purchase an event ticket. Here you will receive an additional 8 Raid Passes from gyms, a guaranteed catch XL Candy for both monsters (from level 31), three times the amount of XP from raids, and double Stardust from raids.
If you purchase the ticket as a Hyper Ticket Box in the Pokémon GO web store, you will also receive a Premium Battle Pass.
