Pokémon GO has announced the global challenges and teases that another reward is coming for the players. But what could it be?
What does Niantic say? In their big announcement about the global challenges surrounding the GO Fests, the developers also mention additional bonuses that await us after completing all challenges.
It states: “If you reach all goals by the end of the summer, even more bonuses await you!” This suggests to many players another Ultra Bonus, similar to what we saw last year.
Ultra Bonus in 2019 – What could await us?
Last year it was: The global challenges we already know from the summer of 2018. There, tasks also had to be solved to unlock various bonuses in the end.
At the end of the summer, there was the Ultra Bonus. Mewtwo appeared in regular raids and regional Pokémon from the 1st generation were in the eggs.
What about this summer? While Niantic hasn’t called it an Ultra Bonus yet, their announcement of additional bonuses at the end of the summer seems quite clear.
Many players have already made speculations about what to expect this summer.
This is what players suspect: The most popular theory is that they will align the Ultra Bonus in 2019 with last year. Deoxys could become available in regular raids and regional Pokémon from the 2nd generation could hatch from 7 km eggs.
Other players speculate that at the end of the summer, Shiny Rayquaza will finally make its debut. This Pokémon is a favorite among many players and would certainly create huge hype upon its introduction.
Other players, on the other hand, hope for a return of Mewtwo. The Pokémon has not been catchable since the Ultra Bonus in 2018. A return after a year would indeed be conceivable. Recently, a hint about new forms of Mewtwo was found in the code. Perhaps this form will also be presented there.
What do you think? What kind of Ultra Bonus could come our way this year?
