In Pokémon GO, trainers will soon be able to catch a new form of Deoxys. The Attack Form will soon appear in EX Raids.
What is Deoxys? Deoxys is the DNA Pokémon. It has the ability to change its form. Until now, trainers have been able to challenge the Normal Form of Deoxys in EX Raids. Now, it changes its form and players can encounter the Attack Form of Deoxys.
We will tell you how strong this form can become and when you can catch the Attack Form.

When will the Attack Form come? If you are currently invited to an EX Raid, you have the chance to catch the Normal Form there.
After December 20th, new invitations will be sent out. They will bring the Attack Form of Deoxys to Pokémon GO.
What is the difference between the Deoxys forms? The Normal Form has balanced stats. The Attack Form has an increased attack value.
The attack value of the Attack Form is the highest attack value of all Pokémon in the game.
The disadvantage of this form is its stamina. It has very little. With 46 points in defense, Deoxys is weaker there than a Caterpie. This means that while you can deal enormous damage, you will be defeated incredibly quickly.
Deoxys in the Attack Form has the following stats:
- Attack value: 414
- Defense value: 46
- HP value: 137
- Maximum CP: 2580
Will the Attack Form be better than the Normal Form? Due to the low CP and the very weak defense value, this Deoxys is unlikely to play a significant role. It remains to be seen whether its extremely high attack value (114 points better than Mewtwo) can somewhat compensate for its weak defense.
That’s why it will be interesting in EX Raids: If you challenge this form of Deoxys in EX Raids, it will be interesting to see how many Pokémon it defeats from you. Due to its high attack value, Deoxys could defeat your Pokémon with just a few attacks.
How do I get an EX Raid? There are two ways to receive an EX Raid invitation. Either you raid with many other players at an EX Raid Arena, or you are invited to an EX Raid by a Great Friend. However, the Great Friend needs an invitation and can invite a maximum of one friend.
