In Pokémon GO, the next Community Day Classic has been announced. And it can really be worth it for you.
What kind of event is this? The Community Day Classic is an event that is very similar to the regular Community Day. Here, a Pokémon is also the focus, which you can catch in very large numbers during the event.
The biggest difference is that during a Community Day Classic, a Pokémon is in focus that has already had a regular Community Day in the past.
The next Community Day Classic has now been announced. And it could be interesting for many trainers.
Strong attacker for 2 types
Which Pokémon is it? As can be seen in a trailer on X, the Pokémon in question is Beldum. The Pokémon from the 3rd generation has the types Steel and Psychic. It can evolve into Metang and then into Metagross.
Metagross is one of the strongest monsters in Pokémon GO. While it already performs excellently as a Psychic attacker, it especially shines as a Steel attacker and is found high up on the list of best attackers in Pokémon GO.
The event is therefore the perfect opportunity to acquire one or two strong specimens and to replenish the candy supplies of the Pokémon.
When does the event take place? The event will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
What bonuses are there during the event? During the event, you can look forward to the following bonuses:
- Increased spawn rate for Beldum
- Increased shiny chance for Beldum
- Incense lasts for 3 hours (does not apply to adventure incense)
- Lures last for 3 hours
- Exclusive attack

If you want to use the event to add Metagross as a Steel attacker to your raid team, be sure to evolve it between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM to get the exclusive charge attack Meteor Mash

. If you want access to this attack after the event, you will need to use a Charged TM.
