The GO Fest 2021 in Pokémon GO is approaching, and more information is coming out. Now the new Hyperbonus and more content for the event are known.
This is the Hyperbonus for GO Fest 2021: As last year, there will also be multiple global challenges at GO Fest 2021 that all trainers with a ticket to the event must complete together. Every hour there will be a new challenge that unlocks a bonus for the next hour.
If all 24 challenges of the GO Fest are successfully completed, the new “Hyperbonus” will be unlocked. It consists of several parts that will be active after the GO Fest and bring special content. The Hyperbonus 2021 looks like this:
- Hyperbonus, Part 1: Time
- Activated after 8 completed challenges
- Runs from Friday, July 23 at 10:00 AM to Tuesday, August 3, at 8:00 PM
- Content: Pokémon from different eras will appear more frequently because the “flow of time is disturbed.”
- Hyperbonus, Part 2: Time
- Unlocked after 16 successful challenges
- Runs from Friday, August 6 at 10:00 AM to Tuesday, August 17 at 8:00 PM
- Pokémon from different locations will appear because “space is being curved.”
- Hyperbonus, Part 3: ???
- Unlocked after 24 successful challenges
- Runs from Friday, August 20 (10:00 AM) to Tuesday, August 31 (8:00 PM)
- There will be “strange events” – more is not known.
The descriptions of the bonuses are still quite open – further information will likely be provided soon. The themes of “space” and “time” can give clues to the main Pokémon games: The legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia are responsible for time and space. Together with Giratina, they make up the “Dimension Trio,” created by Arceus. Arceus, however, is still completely absent in Pokémon GO.
Whether these monsters are directly related to the Hyperbonus is still speculation.
