What event is it about? Pokémon GO is hosting an event at the end of March called “Let’s GO,” where you will assist Professor Willow once again in his research.
Around the theme of “everyday heroes,” a number of monsters await you that you don’t encounter as often in the game. In addition, Team Rocket has planned a takeover again. We will show you which spawns you can expect and what other content you can look forward to.
When does the event take place? The “Let’s GO” event runs from March 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time until March 29, 2023, at 8:00 PM local time.
Encounters with Shiny-Meltan, Ditto, and regional Pokémon
During the event, you will have the opportunity to encounter some Pokémon that you don’t see that often. Therefore, you should not overlook the following specimens:
Meltan: One of these monsters is Meltan, which you can finally obtain again in its shiny form. This is not available outside of special events. As usual, you can find the Steel Pokémon by activating the mystery box.
Additionally, there will be a higher chance of encountering Meltan in sizes XXS and XXL during the event. These are required for the progress of the two size medals “Catch tiny/huge Pokémon.”

Regional Pokémon: Furthermore, you will also encounter the regional Pokémon Vegimak, Grillmak, and Sodamak all over the world. With the exception of Grillmak, which is usually found here in Europe, you will need to travel outside of such events for the others.

Ditto: Another Pokémon that you can encounter more frequently during the “Let’s GO” event is Ditto. The monster from the first game generation likes to transform into other monsters and hopes to disguise itself this way. During the event, it will change its disguise and will once again be found behind other Pokémon. So, pay attention to the following monsters when catching:
