The community on the event
This is what trainers say: On social networks, the announcement of this event is well received. Players are especially excited about the 7km eggs, which finally offer strong content with Riolu again. The evolution Lucario is a popular fighting Pokémon in the community. Through the event eggs, trainers hope to snag some strong specimens. The mood on reddit is good:
- “I’m looking forward to getting Pantimimi and hopefully some Riolus will hatch. The rest is fine,” says QuentynStark on reddit
- “I’m very excited about the 7km eggs. Pantimimi worldwide? Riolu in 7km eggs? Very hyped,” says GhostsSoup on reddit
- “I only see Riolu hatching from 7km eggs and 1/2 hatch distance between the 16th and 21st. I don’t care about anything else at this event,” writes tjkun
The change with the 7km eggs was important because still in August 2021, trainers demanded: Change the 7km eggs!
Some trainers are wondering why specific Pokémon like Dialga and Palkia are not part of the event. After all, they appear on the covers of the new games around which the event revolves. Other trainers write that both trainers were present for about a month last summer and that the developers probably decided against using them as raid bosses in this event.
What do you think of the contents of the event? Is there something you are particularly looking forward to? Then let us know your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments.
