Samurzel will be the Pokémon of the Day at the next Community Day in Pokémon GO. In May, you can also secure some bonuses.
When is the Community Day? The Community Day with Samurzel will take place on May 24, 2020. The official announcement sets the event period at six hours: From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Pokémon Samurzel is the main focus. It is from the third generation of games and is of the Grass type. It evolves into Blanas and Tengulist, which have the Dark and Grass types.
Samurzel Community Day with Special Move and Bonuses
This move is available for the Community Day: If you evolve a Blanas into Tengulist during the Community Day, it can learn a special move. In May, this is the Grass move “Kugelsaat”.
The following bonuses are available: In addition to the special move, players can secure triple XP for every captured Pokémon as well as three-hour incense items. This should help to enjoy the event from home as well. Just two stacked incenses are enough for the entire event period.
Additionally, with a bit of luck, as is usual with Community Days, you may also be able to secure Samurzel as a Shiny.
