What kind of event is this? The Fusion Raid Day takes place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Here you have the opportunity to challenge Necrozma in its two forms in raids.

Necrozma returns on Fusion Raid Day
What can you expect at the event? During the event, you can challenge and defeat Necrozma in its Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings forms in raids. If you are successful, you can obtain the coveted Solar and Lunar Fusion energy and catch Necrozma.
You will need this energy to perform the fusion with Necrozma. Additionally, you will need a Solgaleo (Dusk Mane form) or a Lunala (Dawn Wings form) as well as 30 Necrozma and 30 Cosmog candies for the fusion.
Both Pokémon are among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO. While the Dusk Mane form shines as a Steel attacker, the Dawn Wings form provides a strong Ghost attacker for your team.
Both forms also have an adventure effect that you can use outside of battles.
If you couldn’t gather enough energy for one of the two fusions during GO Fest 2024, you have the perfect opportunity to catch up during this event.
What bonuses are available at the event? In addition to the return of the two monsters and a significantly increased number of raids, you might also catch Necrozma in its shiny variant with a bit of luck. The chance for this is increased during the event.
Additionally, you will receive up to 5 free raid passes through the photo discs of gyms. Be sure to spin the photo disc after a successful battle to receive a pass. In previous events of this type, they were not stackable.
Furthermore, the limit for remote raids will be raised to 20 from 2:00 AM on December 14, 2024, until 5:00 AM on December 15, 2024.
