In Pokémon GO a surprising event around April 1 has started. Niantic therefore brings the new Pokémon Flunschlik, Shiny Glibunkel, and other suitable Pokémon.
What kind of event is this? Niantic itself calls it the “Tricky Pokémon Event.” It revolves around April 1 and brings various prankster Pokémon increased in the wild.
It started today, April 1 at 8:00 AM local time. It will end on April 7 at 10:00 PM local time. During this time, you can benefit from many special Pokémon in the wild.
Flunschlik, Shiny Glibunkel, and more
What bonuses are there? Especially surprising is the new Pokémon Flunschlik. But there are also other special Pokémon:
- Funny and camouflage Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild. These include: Nebulak, Alpollo, Voltobal, Ditto, Tarnpignon, Mogelbaum, Griffel, and Glibunkel
- Flunschlik appears for the first time in Pokémon GO
- In the wild, you can encounter Shiny Glibunkel and Mogelbaum
- In 5 km eggs, you will find the following Pokémon: Griffel, Isso, Mobai, Glibunkel, and Flunschlik
- Special quests include the Pokémon Flunschlik, Mogelbaum, and Glibunkel
- In snapshots, Glibunkel or Griffel may appear, which can be Shiny
This is especially true for the Shinies: Until now, it was not possible to catch Mogelbaum as Shiny. The shiny version was only obtained by evolving a Shiny Mobai beforehand. Now there is a chance to get it in the wild.
Which spawns are special? You should especially keep an eye out for Glibunkel and Mogelbaum. Glibunkel is the new Shiny, and you probably won’t get such a good chance at a Shiny Mogelbaum again.
How about Corona? The event can be easily played from home, and the gifts from the in-game shop help with catching the numerous monsters.
These are the quests: In total, there are 3 field researches that can be completed during the event. They include:
- Earn 3 candies by walking with your buddy
- Reward: Encounter with a Flunschlik
- Give your buddy a berry
- Reward: Encounter with a Mogelbaum
- Catch 3 Ditto
- Reward: Encounter with a Glibunkel
In the research breakthrough, you will encounter Alola-Kokowei starting on April 1 at 10:00 PM.
