The first raids with Regidrago in Pokémon GO did not go according to plan at all. Therefore, the game is launching an event in May that will bring back the top raids featuring Regidrago. We will show you the date and details here.
What kind of event is this? The event in May will unlock top raids with Regidrago for one afternoon. Trainers worldwide will once again have the chance to battle and catch the Pokémon.
On Twitter, Niantic has now publicly apologized to the trainers.
Top Raids with Regidrago in May
When is it happening? The replacement event will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023. During the times of 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM local time, you will find top raids with Regidrago at gyms.
For trainers in the GMT+13 time zone (which applies partly to players from New Zealand), there will be a special, free package in the shop from May 12 at 11:00 AM until May 13 at 6:00 PM. It contains 3 premium battle passes and 2 silver pinap berries.
What does Niantic say? On Twitter, the team writes that they apologize for the inconveniences during Regidrago’s first appearance in March. Due to the technical problems at the event, this replacement event will take place in May.
There will also be a timed research available for you at the event in May. Even if you have already completed this, you can still participate. Two exclusive timed researches will be available from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. They reward you with candy for Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.
