In Pokémon GO, the new event “Road to Sinnoh” is starting soon. This brings a lot of content in preparation for the Sinnoh Tour. We will show you all the information.
When does the event start? “The Road to Sinnoh” starts on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM and runs until Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10:00 PM.
Directly after this, the global Sinnoh Tour will take place, which runs on February 24 and 25, 2024. So “The Road to Sinnoh” is a kind of preparation event.
The announcement mentions the following bonuses:
- Double hatch speed for eggs activated during the event
- The remote raid limit will be increased to ten per day from February 19 to 22
- From February 23 to 25, during the global Sinnoh Tour, there will be no remote raid limit

Which Pokémon does “The Road to Sinnoh” bring to Pokémon GO?
Legendary bosses: During the event, you will encounter a different level 5 boss in the raids every day. The following are available, possible Shinies are marked with an asterisk *.
- Darkrai* on Monday, February 19
- Cresselia* on Tuesday, February 20
- The Lake Trio on Wednesday, February 21
- Selfe* in the Asia-Pacific region
- Vesprit* in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India
- Tobutz* in America & Greenland
- Heatran on Thursday, February 22
- Giratina (Origin Form) on Friday, February 23
Apart from the legendary raid bosses, you will encounter the starter Pokémon of the generation in the raids during the event.
- Level 1: Chelast*, Panflam*, Plinfa*
- Level 3: Chelcarain, Panpyro, Pliprin
In the wild: You will also encounter Chelast*, Panflam*, and Plinfa* more frequently, as well as occasionally Chelcarain, Panpyro, and Pliprin.
You will find in the 2 km eggs:
- Knospi*
- Klingplim*
- Mobai*
- Wonneira*
- Mampfaxo*
- Riolu*
- Mantirps*
In the timed research, you will also encounter the legendary bosses:
- Heatran*
- Giratina (Origin Form)*
- Cresselia*
- Darkrai*
Additional event tickets for “The Road to Sinnoh”
What kind of tickets are these? Pokémon GO will release two additional tickets in the shop for the event, each costing $5 (roughly similar in euros). The bonuses from these tickets apply during the “Road to Sinnoh” event, but also during the Sinnoh Tour on February 24 and 25.
The two tickets look like this.
The Raid Ticket: This provides an additional 5,000 XP for raid victories, an extra candy when catching the raid boss, and two extra raid passes per day that you can obtain at the gyms.
This also includes a timed research with the following rewards:
- 10 candies each for Dialga and Palkia
- 5 XL candies each for Heatran, Giratina, Cresselia, Darkrai
- An Eevee fan mask
The Hatch Ticket: This ticket grants you a timed research where you will encounter the regional Pokémon Pachirisu*, Plaudagei*, and Venuflibis*. Additionally, you will receive:
- Double hatch XP
- Double candies for hatching
- Double stardust for hatching
- An Pikachu fan mask
With the Road to Sinnoh, the journey towards the Sinnoh Tour seems to be gaining momentum. There will be the debut of Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia in Pokémon GO.
