These are the 9 new monsters in Pokémon GO
Here you can see all 9 monsters in the graphic at once:

But what makes these monsters special?
Micrick and Lextremo
Micrick is a Bug-type and can evolve into Lextremo. Lextremo will additionally gain the Dark type.
You will encounter Micrick in the wild, which should make it easier to gather the candies for Lextremo. You will need a total of 50 candies for the evolution. The Shiny variant will not be available in the game yet.
However, catching it is worthwhile, as Micrick will be able to participate in showcases during the event. Here, you should try to get a good specimen for the competitions.
Pamo, Pamamo and Pamomamo
Pamo has two evolutions.
- You need 25 candies for Pamamo.
- You need 100 candies for Pamomamo. However, you must walk 25 kilometers with Pamo first.
This makes it a relatively active monster, which may take some time to reach its final evolution. After all, it appears in the wild and can be collected, plus there will be research tasks related to it.
Similar to Micrick, the Shiny is not available yet, but Pamo is also a candidate for showcases during the event. So here too: Try to catch a good competition specimen.
Adebom
The stork-like Pokémon has no evolution, but excels in another quality: You can obtain it as a Shiny right from the start. This makes it an exciting Pokémon for those looking for shiny monsters.
However, there is a downside: The Pokémon will not spawn in the wild but will appear in raids. It will join level 3 raids, together with Tortunator and Axantor. So you will have to battle if you want this monster.
Frospino, Cryospino, Espinodon
This evolutionary line currently represents the most exciting Pokémon in the event, as Espinodon has the potential to become one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO. It belongs to the pseudo-legendary Pokémon, monsters that are not legendary but are still extremely strong.
You need 25 candies for the evolution from Frospino to Cryospino, and then another 100 for Espinodon.
However, it is still unclear how well one can collect them. Because: The monster is only announced in the official announcement as a spawn with luck in the wild. This suggests that it will appear significantly less frequently than other monsters. After the event, it should hatch from 10 km eggs.
Here, some players fear a situation like earlier with Kaumalat or Milza: A powerful monster that is hardly encountered.
However, this will only show once the event starts. What do you think of the new monsters? Tell us in the comments.
