The last Pokémon GO Fest 2022 starts at the end of August and will take place worldwide again. The first content was revealed in the “Pokémon Presents” stream.
When is the Pokémon GO Fest finale? The great “closing event” of the GO Fest 2022 will take place on Saturday, August 27. It follows the local events in Seattle, Berlin, and Sapporo, but will be held as a global version again.
This means that all Trainers with a ticket can participate. The ticket costs $10.99 (about 10 – 11 euros). However, those who already had a ticket for the first global GO Fest 2022 can participate without purchasing another ticket.
So far, it was unclear what would happen at the GO Fest finale in August. Now there is some initial information.

What to expect at the event: Although not all details of the event are clear yet, it is now at least known: You will encounter all 4 Ultra Beasts available in Pokémon GO so far.
As the “Pokémon Presents” stream showed, the finale will bring the following monsters:
- Anego (This was already available at the first global GO Fest)
- Shabelle (This was available at the event in Berlin)
- Masskito (The Ultra Beast from Seattle)
- Voltriant (makes its debut at the event in Sapporo)
Thus, Trainers who could not make the trip to the local events will also be able to catch these monsters for the first time.

The story continues: Additionally, the stream explained that the story involving Rhi from the “Ultra Research Team” and Professor Willow will be concluded. We will likely find out what happened to the professor.
Moreover, a picture of the Zenith form of the mysterious Pokémon Shaymin was shown in connection with the GO Fest news.
It was not explicitly stated that it will be available at the finale, but it is certainly possible, as it had previously only been catchable at local events.
At the finale, there should also be a special research, just like at the first GO Fest 2022. The first variant brought the “normal” form of Shaymin – it is possible that the Zenith form will be available at the finale as well.
