In Pokémon GO you can find 3 new collector challenges starting today for the crossover event. We at MeinMMO looked at which monsters you need to solve and show you the rewards that await you.
What kind of tasks are there? On June 16, 2022, the crossover event for the trading card game in Pokémon GO started and brought you 6 new collector challenges for this occasion. Now Niantic is adding 3 more collector challenges.
Of course, these will also run until the end of the event. So make sure to redeem them in time to secure your rewards.
How long does the event last? The crossover event for the trading card game runs until June 30, 2022, at 8:00 PM local time.
These are the 3 new collector challenges
When will they be available? The 3 new collector challenges will be available starting today, June 23, 2022, at 10:00 AM local time in your “Today” view.
How to solve the tasks? Unlike the first 6 collector challenges, you must catch all the Pokémon sought in the 3 new tasks. So no trading with friends is necessary.
The Pokémon that are sought can currently all be found in the wild, so the tasks can be solved relatively quickly and easily. But there is still a minor difficulty, as Ditto is currently hiding behind three of the sought-after event Pokémon and can therefore be found more frequently.
The challenges themselves revolve around the three starter Pokémon of the Kanto region: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. With the help of the overview from LeekDuck we have summarized the sought Pokémon and the rewards of each challenge below.
Crossover event with trading card game: Bulbasaur collector challenge 2
You need to catch the following Pokémon to solve:
- Bulbasaur
- Trapinch
- Swablu
- Natu
- Pikachu with event cap
Reward: If you find all the sought-after monsters of this challenge, you will receive 1,000 XP and an encounter with Venusaur.
Crossover event with trading card game: Charmander collector challenge 2
You need to catch the following Pokémon to solve:
- Charmander
- Numel
- Trapinch
- Natu
- Pikachu with event cap
Reward: If you find all the sought-after monsters of this challenge, you will receive 1,000 XP and an encounter with Charizard.
Crossover event with trading card game: Squirtle collector challenge 2
You need to catch the following Pokémon to solve:
- Squirtle
- Bidoof
- Swablu
- Trapinch
- Pikachu with event cap
Reward: If you find all the sought-after monsters of this challenge, you will receive 1,000 XP and an encounter with Blastoise.
