In Pokémon GO the event “Mysterious Blade” starts on Tuesday. Keldeo and Crabominable will appear in the game for the first time. But only those who buy a ticket for 8 dollars will be able to see both.
What kind of event is this? In this event, Pokémon GO aims to unlock two new Pokémon for you in the game. Keldeo, the Mythical Pokémon from the fifth generation, and Crabominable, which comes from the seventh generation. While you can encounter Crabominable easily in the wild, Keldeo hides behind a special research task that you can only unlock with a paid ticket.

Event Details for Mysterious Blade – Start, Ticket, Bonuses, Spawns, and More
When does it start? The event starts on Tuesday (December 6th) at 10:00 AM local time. It will end on Sunday, December 11th, at 8:00 PM local time.
New Pokémon for everyone: Crabominable, the boxing Pokémon from the seventh generation will be available. It is a Fighting type.
New Pokémon for payment: Those who buy a ticket for the special research “Something Extraordinary” will unlock an encounter with Keldeo in its standard form. It is a Water and Fighting type. Along with Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, it forms the Swords of Justice.

Pokémon in the wild: In the wild, you will encounter more frequently Mankey*, Machop*, Hitmonlee*, Hitmonchan*, Hariyama*, Magmar, Makuhita*, Meditite*, Pansear, and with luck Crabominable and Keldeo. (Pokémon marked with a * can be encountered as Shiny)
In field research, you will find Galarian Farfetch’d*, Hitmonlee*, Hitmonchan* or Hariyama*. If you master the collector challenge of the event, you will receive a Fast TM and a Charged TM.
Raids: During the event, certain Pokémon will be available in raids:

Additionally, there are exclusive moves for Terrakion, Virizion, and Keldeo:
- If you catch Virizion between December 1st and December 8th, it will learn Sacred Sword
- If you catch Terrakion between December 8th and December 15th, it will learn Sacred Sword
- If you catch Keldeo during the special research “Something Extraordinary”, it will learn Sacred Sword
- In trainer battles, Sacred Sword deals 60 damage, in gym battles and raids 55 damage
The Special Research “Something Extraordinary”
How much does it cost? You can buy the ticket for 8 dollars.
What is this? This special research is not available for all trainers. You will only receive it if you buy the appropriate ticket. The tickets will be available in the Pokémon GO shop starting from December 6th at 10:00 AM local time and will remain available until December 11th at 8:00 PM.
Trainers who have purchased a ticket can participate in the special research during the event “Mysterious Blade.” You need to open Pokémon GO once between Saturday (December 10th at 10:00 AM) and Sunday (December 11th at 8:00 PM) to activate the research.
You can complete the research at any time. The important thing is that you activate it within the time window.
What do you get? With the ticket, you unlock the special research that gives you a Keldeo in its standard form. Additionally, you will receive:

- 14 Rare Candies
- 12 Silver Pinap Berries
- 2 Incubators
- 2 Super Incubators
- 2 Lures
- Encounters with various Fighting and Water-type Pokémon

Moreover, there is increased effectiveness with lures when you activate them during the event. (Please note that the daily lure is excluded from these bonuses).
