New promo codes for Pokémon GO are always a reason for joy among trainers. However, the latest gift bundle was not well received. Why?
What kind of code is this? Niantic regularly releases new promo codes for Pokémon GO. Each trainer then has the chance to redeem such a code once to secure free content. Usually, these are various items that can be unlocked. Recently, you could even secure researches for legendary Pokémon with it.
The latest code was available on the evening of April 12, and some trainers even express sadness about redeeming the rewards.

However, trainers report that the combination expired after just a few hours.
What’s in it? With this code, you would have received 5 super balls and 5 potions. Compared to other promo codes, this is a relatively poor yield. The 5 potions are the weakest version of this item.

How are the trainers reacting? Normally, good mood arises in the community after the release of new promo codes. Trainers quickly redeem the combinations to secure the items. Everything is put on hold to be on time. This time, the community reacted differently. A lot is spotted on Reddit.

It may have been a promo aimed specifically at newer trainers. Beginners might be happy with potions and a few balls, especially if they have few stops nearby. Still, 5 potions and 5 super balls are just not much. Especially considering that we have already had codes with 30 Poké Balls and incense or even super incubators and lucky eggs.
