The second generation is just around the corner for Pokémon GO. Trainers who think ahead should start saving some candies now. Why, you will find out here.
Niantic has confirmed in a press conference that more Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO. Additionally, during a data mining, all cries of Pokémon from the second generation were found. Together, these suggest that soon the Pokémon from the Silver and Gold editions will be catchable. Anyone familiar with Pokémon knows immediately that among the second generation are evolution forms of the first! And that means you should start saving candies of the following Pokémon:
Blubella: Myrapla Candies

Blubella is a Grass-type Pokémon that evolves from Duflor. Myrapla is the pre-evolution of Duflor. Since this is a third evolution, you will likely need 100 Myrapla Candies for the evolution to Blubella.
In the original editions, however, Duflor evolves into Giflor with the item Leaf Stone and into Blubella with a Sun Stone. It remains to be seen how Niantic will handle this. When Blubella is exposed to strong sunlight, the leaves on its body begin to spin. The dance of this Pokémon is known in southern countries.
Heitera: Chaneira Candies

Heitera is a Normal-type Pokémon and is the evolution of Chainera. Since this is a second evolution stage, you will probably need 50 Chaneira Candies for the evolution. Anyone who takes a bite of the egg that Heiteira holds will become more careful and polite toward others.
Iksbat: Zubat Candies

Iksbat is the third stage of Zubat and evolves from Golbat. It is a Poison/Flying type and since this is a third evolution, you will likely need 100 Zubat Candies to evolve it. Iksbat’s wingbeat is so quiet that its prey is caught off guard. This Pokémon rests by hanging from a branch with its hind legs.
Psiana: Evoli Candies

Psiana is a Psychic-type Pokémon and is one of the many evolutions of Evoli. It might be that the developers will introduce an Easter egg for the evolution here. But you will likely need 25 Evoli Candies again. Psiana is loyal to every trainer it is attached to. This Pokémon has developed the ability of prophecy to protect its trainers from harm.
Nachtara: Evoli Candies

Nachtara belongs to the Evoli family and is a Dark-type Pokémon. As with Psiana, it is possible to obtain this Pokémon through an Easter egg. In the Gold and Silver editions, you get Nachtara when you evolve your Evoli at night and a Psiana when you evolve Evoli during the day. Perhaps this will not be different in Pokémon GO. You will likely need 25 Evoli Candies.
So save up for both evolutions, Nachtara and Psiana, and better already have 50 Evoli Candies. Nachtara has evolved by being exposed to moon waves. It hides in the cover of darkness, waiting for a foe to move. The rings on its body light up when it attacks.
Seedraking: Seeper Candies

Seedraking is a Water/Dragon type and is the third stage of Seeper. The intermediary is Seemon. If you want to evolve Seemon, better save up 100 Seeper Candies. Seedraking sleeps on the ocean floor where no one else lives. When a storm arises, it wakes up and searches for prey.
Porygon2: Porygon Candies

Porygon2 is the evolution of Porygon and is a Normal type. As a second evolution, 50 Porygon Candies should be enough for its evolution. Porygon2 was created by humans in a scientific experiment. It has artificial intelligence, allowing it to learn new gestures and emotions independently.
Quaxo: Quapsel Candies

Quaxo is a Water type. It is a similar case to Blubella: In the Silver and Gold editions, you need to give it a King’s Stone to evolve from Quaputzi to Quaxo. If it holds a Water Stone, it will evolve to Quappo. However, we will assume that it will likely need 100 Quapsel Candies since it is a third stage. Quaxo has curly hair that gives it the status of a king. The longer and curlier its hair, the more respect this Pokémon earns from its peers.
Scherox: Sichlor Candies

Scherox has two types, Bug and Steel. It is the second evolution to Sichlor and we assume that you will need 50 Sichlor Candies to evolve it. Scherox’s body is as hard as steel. Ordinary attacks do not scare it. This Pokémon flaps its wings to regulate its body temperature.
Laschoking: Flegmon Candies

Laschoking is a Psychic/Water Pokémon and an alternative evolution to Lahmus. The first stage is Flegmon. As a second evolution, you will need 50 Flegmon Candies. In the editions, Flegmon evolves to Laschoking with a King’s Stone. Therefore, it remains to be seen how it will evolve to Laschoking in Pokémon GO. Laschoking researches every day to uncover the secrets of the world. This Pokémon forgets everything it has discovered when the Muschas on its head falls off.
Stahlos: Onix Candies

As the name suggests, Stahlos is a Steel type – with Ground as a second type. It evolves from an Onix and will thus need 50 Onix Candies as a second stage. Stahlos lives even deeper underground than Onix. This Pokémon always digs toward the Earth’s core. It has been proven that this Pokémon has already reached depths of 1 km.
Leya says: This list is pure speculation. How Niantic will actually implement the evolutions of the second generation in Pokémon GO remains to be seen. However, it certainly can’t hurt to store the candies mentioned above for the newcomers. I see a high probability that the evolution will be similar to the first generation and categorized by evolution stage. It remains to be seen how it will work with the special cases Blubella and Quaxo.
Will you start saving your candies for the second generation Pokémon now? Or will you wait and see until they are actually added to Pokémon GO?
