Your Ampharos can learn the move Dragon Pulse during the 4th Community Day in Pokémon GO. This is now causing discussions.
Trainers, it won’t be long until the next Community Day starts. Next Sunday, April 15th, the event will be active for three hours again. The featured Pokémon for this day is Mareep. One of its evolutions can learn an exclusive move during the event. The developers have now revealed what it is.
Ampharos learns Dragon Pulse
The fourth Community Day will take place next Sunday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. In the wild, you will find Mareep with increased chances, allowing you to collect plenty of monsters and candies.
The special move of the 4th Community Day is Dragon Pulse. However, it is not learned by Mareep itself, but by one of its evolutions. If you evolve a Flaaffy into Ampharos during the event, it can learn the Dragon move “Dragon Pulse.” Keep in mind that Ampharos must be evolved or caught to master the move. Fast and Charged TMs will not teach exclusive moves during the Community Day.
Within the community, this special move is received rather “meh.” On Reddit, user MethFred writes: “Oh man, the worst Dragon move for an Electric Pokémon.” User Psychosean writes: “I am actually happy. That means I can chill and don’t have to pressure myself for the Community Day, because otherwise I would miss something great.”
Despite the harsh evaluations from the community, Dragon Pulse isn’t entirely bad. However, there are simply better attacks.
Now players hope that Niantic will change something about Dragon Pulse before it comes into the game. Niantic had also done this with the Sky Attack. When Lugia returned to the game, the monster could learn the Sky Attack. The developer team enhanced this before Lugia’s arrival.
