For your efforts at GO Fest 2020, the Dragon Week, Enigma Week, and Unova Week will soon start in Pokémon GO. We will show you the strong bonuses of these upcoming events.
What kind of events are these? On the weekend of July 25th and 26th, the GO Fest 2020 took place in Pokémon GO. Trainers from around the world participated and took advantage of the special Shinies and spawns that the event had to offer.
For the first day of the event, the developers set 32 challenges for you players. By completing these challenges, Niantic promised three bonus weeks.

- Enigma Week
- Unova Week
Since you trainers helped diligently, all three bonus weeks have been unlocked. You completed all the necessary tasks and cracked the big challenge that the Pokémon GO team set for you. Now you can expect three weeks of action in the form of event weeks.
The first one starts on July 31, 2020. We will show you all the details about what to expect in the event weeks.
Dragon Week in Pokémon GO
When is the event happening? The Dragon Week starts on Friday, July 31 at 10:00 PM and ends a week later, on August 7 at 10:00 PM.
What will happen during this week? Everything is about Dragon Pokémon. Changed spawns, content from 7 km eggs, raids, limited research, and more.
- More frequent spawns in the wild: Alolan Exeggutor, Seadra, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, Deino, and Noibat
- Pokémon from 7 km eggs: Seadra, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, Deino, Noibat, and Farfetch’d
- Legendary raids with Rayquaza
- Limited research: One week active, rewards 2x Farfetch’d upon completion
- Shiny: Chance for shiny Farfetch’d
Enigma Week in Pokémon GO
When is the event happening? The Enigma Week starts on August 7 at 10:00 PM and runs for a week. It ends on Friday, August 14, at 10:00 PM.
What will happen during this week? Different types of Pokémon will appear during this week. Even Unown will make an appearance.
- More frequent spawns in the wild: Staryu, Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Lunatone, Solrock, Swablu, Bronzor, and Porygon-Z
- Pokémon from 7 km eggs: Pii, Fluffeluff, Lunatone, Solrock, and Porygon-Z
- Raid battles: Bronzong, Leafeon, Porygon-Z, and Unown in forms U, L, T, R, A
- Legendary raids with Deoxys – even as shiny
- Shiny: Chance for shiny Staryu
Unova Week in Pokémon GO
When is the event happening? The start of the Unova Week will take place on August 14 at 10:00 PM. The event runs for a week and ends on August 21 at 10:00 PM.
What will happen during this week? In the third Hyper Bonus Week, new Pokémon will enter the game.
- More frequent spawns in the wild: Snivy, Servine, Emolga, and other Pokémon from the Unova region.
- Pokémon from 7 km eggs: Just like the spawns: Snivy, Servine, Emolga, and other Pokémon from the Unova region.
- Special feature: The Pokémon Bounsweet will appear in New York City (USA) and surroundings, hatching from 5 km eggs
- Raid battles: Roggenrola and other Pokémon from the Unova region will appear in raids
- Legendary raids with Genesect – can even be shiny
- Shiny: Chance for shiny Roggenrola
In the near future, you can also prepare to level up your trainer account. Pokémon GO discussed the new maximum level and how leveling up will change.
