Recently, Deoxys was announced as the new EX Raid Boss in Pokémon GO, and there is now new information about the monster. Deoxys’s attacks and its base catch rate appeared in the code.
Catch Rate Comparable to Mewtwo
This news will please some players. The basic catch rate of Deoxys is 6%, just like that of Mewtwo from EX Raids.
In comparison, the catch rate of most legendary Pokémon from raids is significantly lower. Their catch rate is 2%. Therefore, most legendary Pokémon are on paper significantly harder to catch than Deoxys.
Increase Catch Rate: You can increase the catch rate with common methods. This includes using Razz Berries. Additionally, throwing great, ultra, and simply excellent throws increases the catch rate. It should pose no problems for experienced players to catch Deoxys.
Deoxys will be available to battle in EX Raids in the future. Currently, Pokémon GO trainers are reporting that EX Raid arenas are disappearing
All Attacks of Deoxys
Each Form Learns Different Attacks: The special feature of Deoxys is its ability to take different forms. There are the Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed forms. So far, Niantic has only mentioned the Normal form in their announcements. Now, data miners from GoHub found that each form of Deoxys can learn different attacks in Pokémon GO.
Special Attack Psycho Boost: In the console games, Deoxys could learn the special attack Psycho Boost. This was intended only for the mythical Pokémon. The attack is also coming to Pokémon GO with Deoxys. The Psychic attack has, according to Gamepress, a base value of 70 and two charge bars. In Pokémon GO, each form of Deoxys can learn this attack.
