On Community Day in November in Pokémon GO, Cyndaquil’s evolution Typhlosion can learn the exclusive move Flame Charge.
Already next weekend, on November 10, the Community Day in Pokémon GO will take place. This time it’s all about the fire starter Cyndaquil. Niantic has now announced that the exclusive move during Community Day will be Flame Charge.
The move can be learned by Typhlosion, the evolution of Cyndaquil, during the Community Day.
Typhlosion learns Flame Charge in Pokémon GO
In a few days, the Community Day starts, and as always, Niantic revealed the special move only shortly before the start.
Flame Charge was learned by another Pokémon: Flame Charge is not unknown in Pokémon GO. A few months ago, Charizard was able to learn this move during Community Day.
How strong will Typhlosion become? Just like Charizard became significantly stronger with Flame Charge, many players are now wondering if Typhlosion will also become stronger. It is expected that while Typhlosion will improve, it still won’t be able to compete with the top fire attackers.
Poor Fast Move: Typhlosion won’t get much stronger as it can only learn a weak fast move. The move Ember that Typhlosion has is far weaker than Charizard’s Fire Spin. Therefore, Typhlosion will likely not play a major role among the fire attackers.
This is what the community says: The community is not surprised by the new move of Typhlosion. In September, Meganium already learned Flora Statue, the same move that Venusaur could learn before. It was expected that Typhlosion could learn the same move as Charizard.
Additionally, Typhlosion with the new move is not a true monster but more of a collector’s item. Therefore, at least evolve a Quilava to Typhlosion so it can master Flame Charge. This definitely makes it stronger than the Typhlosion with normal moves.
When does the Community Day start? The Community Day runs on November 10 from 11 AM to 2 PM as usual. During this time, Cyndaquil will appear more frequently.
What bonuses are there? In November, players can look forward to two bonuses. There will be double XP for catching Pokémon and also double Stardust for every catch.
Shiny Cyndaquil: As always, there will probably also be a shiny version of the Community Day Pokémon in November. Although it is not confirmed, there have been shiny versions of the special Pokémon to catch at every Community Day event so far.
What do you think of the new move?
Currently, Ponyta and Golett are appearing more frequently in the wild. Have you caught a shiny yet?
