What kind of event is this? This short event revolves around the joke date of April 1st. Days ago, it was leaked that many Pidgey would be the focus on this day. Now Niantic has confirmed the event in this form.
Here, we provide you with an overview of all the content that awaits you today. Keep in mind that the event is only active for a few hours. If you want to participate, you should plan your time well.
Pidgey Turbulence on April 1st – Start, Shinies, Bonuses
When does it start and end? The event runs from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. After that, it will end. You only have a few hours left to participate.
Pokémon in the wild: If you are out and about, you will find Pidgey much more frequently. The Pokémon can also be caught in its shiny version.
Bonus: There is a greater chance of finding Pidgey in XXS or XXL sizes.
Special research: For such an event, special research is of course a must. This one also revolves around the many Pidgey, for which Professor Willow needs your help. The special research is available from 3:00 PM to 11:59 PM.
