In Pokémon GO seems to have a quest for daily coins that has disappeared. You should now find it easier to obtain the 20 coins from the quests.
This is what trainers report: On reddit , a user “Kumakobi” asked if he was the only player who no longer receives the quest “Win a Raid” for the daily coins. Dozens of trainers then responded and agreed: They also have not received this unpopular task anymore.
So it seems that Niantic has listened to the complaints of trainers and removed this quest.
No more Raids for daily coins
This is how it has been: Per day, you used to receive 5 tasks from Pokémon GO. One of those could have been the quest “Win a Raid”. If you completed the tasks, you would receive 20 coins every day.
However, the tasks change daily. So you do not have to win a raid every day, but can also receive other tasks.
This seems to be the case now: For days, trainers have not received the task “Win a Raid”. Instead, there have been repeatedly the quest “Land a great throw”. Other tasks remain the same, but raiding seems no longer necessary for daily coins.
Is this officially confirmed? No, Niantic has not commented on this yet. However, the task has not been sighted for 9 days, which is a good sign for many trainers.
The reddit user Falafelmeister92 also notes: “We have already had a period of 7 days without the quest. Then it came back for 8 days in a row.”
So it may very well be that this time it will be a similarly long period and we might soon have to do raids for daily coins again.
This is what is hoped for: According to the trainers, they wish that this quest does not come back. After all, you have to invest something here first to then receive coins.
So it remains to be seen whether this quest will actually stay completely gone or if it is just a longer pause.
