There is new information about the Halloween event 2020 in Pokémon GO! The developers have teased Galar-Makabaja. We show you the new Pokémon.
This is what happened: A short video was uploaded on Niantic’s social media channels, showing the outlines of Galar-Makabaja.
The developers wrote “Guess who?” and the hashtag “#PokemonGOHalloween”. So we can expect the new Pokémon at least for the Halloween event.
Galar-Makabaja and a new evolution
This is Galar-Makabaja: The first Galar Pokémon is already available in Pokémon GO. Similar to Galar Meowth, the Galar form of Makabaja also has a brand new evolution that does not exist yet.
Galar-Makabaja evolves into Oghnatoll and not into Echnatoll. So there will be a completely new Dex entry – similar to Mauzinger, the evolution of Galar Meowth.
How strong is the Pokémon? This is still completely unclear. So far, Oghnatoll has not been found in the game files of Pokémon GO. Therefore, it is also not possible to tell how strong the monster will be.
Nevertheless, one should not expect huge leaps. Echnatoll is already a weak Pokémon and even if the Galar form Oghnatoll is somewhat stronger, it will not play a role among the best attackers.
What else is known about Halloween 2020? So far, the information is rather sparse. It is known that a Halloween event will take place again in October and that a special raid boss can be expected there.
The exact date and which other Pokémon will appear there is still unknown. In recent years, there have been double candies on almost all actions, increased ghost and dark Pokémon, and also completely new Pokémon. So we could expect similar things this year.
