New EX-Raid Boss: There has been speculation in the community about which monster will join the EX-Raids after Mewtwo. It has now apparently been leaked that the special monster will be Deoxys.
Community Day featuring Tanhel: Other players found a hint on Niantic’s official website that an event featuring Tanhel is expected soon.

Deoxys in EX-Raids in Pokémon GO
It seems that Niantic accidentally spoiled a surprise. A push notification from Pokémon GO appeared on many smartphones early Wednesday morning (September 19).
What does the message say? It reads: “Are you ready? The mystical Psychic Pokémon Deoxys will soon appear in EX-Raid battles!”
Not entirely official: This announcement cannot be found on the official Pokémon GO websites. It is also not visible in the Pokémon GO app. So far, there have only been these push notifications. It is unclear when Deoxys will actually enter the EX-Raids.
It was probably an accident: Niantic may have sent this message prematurely to some trainers. However, many were able to take screenshots and share them with the community.
When will the official announcement come? Trainers are now waiting for Niantic to release the full announcement for Deoxys. Others suspect that this was just a test and Deoxys is still far off. However, a new EX-Raid boss would be an important move, as Mewtwo will soon be catchable by everyone.

Next Community Day found
The image for a future Community Day was also shared with the TheSilphRoad community.
Leak confirmed: The image was found in the source code of the official event webpage. This discovery was confirmed by the head of TheSilphRoad, Dronpes.
Fits with data mining: About a month ago, the attack called Meteor Mash was discovered. The displayed image will likely be adapted in the background for October, but it seems that there will be a Community Day with Tanhel in October. This, along with its evolution, could possibly learn the attack Meteor Mash.
