In December, Pokémon GO will host a special Community Day again! In total, you will be able to catch 22 different Pokémon. We at MeinMMO provide the overview.
When is the Community Day? This event will take place over 2 days. On December 12 and 13, the Community Day will occur. A specific time has not been announced yet.
The Community Day will highlight 22 Pokémon. These are the monsters that had a Community Day in 2019 and 2020.

Which Pokémon will appear? Niantic mentions that all monsters that had a Community Day in 2019 and 2020 will appear again in December. They will show up in the wild and in raids.

- Chikorita
- Treecko
- Torchic
- Mudkip
- Castform
- Swablu
- Charmander
- Dratini
- Turtwig
- Monferno
- Piplup
- Rhydon
- Abra
- Snivy
- Hoppip
- Stunky
- Magikarp
- Porygon
- Charmander
- Magmar
- Electabuzz
This remains to be seen: In the past years, Niantic had similar Community Days. In 2019, there were three-hour events that featured half of the event Pokémon. The other half was available on the other day.
So far, there is no information for this year. However, it is likely that the spawns will also be split across the days this year.
Furthermore, nothing has been said about the exclusive moves yet. Previously, it was the case that during the Community Day in December, all exclusive moves from the Community Days could be learned.
What else is happening in December? This month has a lot in store. Niantic is rolling out the “GO Beyond” update, which brings Gen 6, seasons, and level 50.
