What’s new? The Alolan Pokémon also come as raid bosses now. Additionally, Alolan Rattata can now be found in the wild alongside Exeggutor.
Alolan Raid Bosses in Pokémon GO?
Announcement via in-game message: With a message in Pokémon GO, the developers explained that Alolan forms will also be available in raids. In addition to spawns in the wild and from 7 KM eggs, these special monsters will be raid opponents.
Not yet activated: The announcement was made on Saturday morning. The community expects that the raid bosses will be activated at the usual time, around 10 PM. As of now, the opponents are still not found in the gyms.
Which Alolan forms will be raid bosses? In the announcement, Niantic did not explain which forms will appear as raid bosses. It is only clear that they are Alolan forms of Pokémon that were originally found in the Kanto region. These Alolan forms were found in the latest update 0.107.1.
Alolan Rattata in the wild, along with Exeggutor
Exeggutor is back in the wild: Trainers noticed on Friday that the Alolan form of Exeggutor is back in the wild. This was the start of Alolan forms in Pokémon GO and can now appear near you again.
