What kind of challengers are there? Since today, August 18, in Pokémon GO, the World Cup event takes place and everything revolves around PvP battles, you will also encounter so-called challengers in the game again. You will find them, similar to Team GO Rocket, at the PokéStops.
There you can challenge them and fight against them. And to solve the limited research during the World Cup event, you must confront the challengers. They will field the winning teams from the regional championships.
Which ones they are and which types you can best defeat them with, we have summarized for you below.
How long can you find the challengers? You can find the challengers from August 18, 2022, at 10:00 AM local time until August 23, 2022, at 8:00 PM local time at the PokéStops in the game.

What challengers are there? During the World Cup event, you can encounter a total of 6 different challengers in Pokémon GO. As you are used to from other PvP battles or Team GO Rocket, 3 different Pokémon will be used in battle.

What to consider? The Pokémon that can be chosen by the challengers belong to different types and thus have different weaknesses. Depending on which monster you face, you should use the corresponding weakness to defeat it as quickly as possible.
