Who is this worth it for? Neither Smogon nor Smogmog play an important role in Raids or Trainer battles. So use the Spotlight Hour mainly to earn experience points and the chance to catch a Shiny if you’re lucky.

Spotlight Hour on February 22
Which Pokémon will you meet there? The last Spotlight Hour in February brings Voltobal into focus. It is of the Electric type and hails from the first generation. You can evolve it into Lektrobal.
What bonuses do you get? For catching Pokémon, you will receive double the amount of candies.
Who is this worth it for? Neither Voltobal nor Lektrobal are interesting for Raids or Trainer battles. Therefore, this event focuses on the candy bonus. As this also counts for other types of Pokémon, it is worth doing Raids during this time to receive double candies for catching Raid bosses.
