When do the raid hours take place? In Pokémon GO, a so-called raid hour takes place every Wednesday between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM local time. During this time, a specific legendary raid boss takes over a majority of the gyms and can be defeated and subsequently caught in the level 5 raid. With a bit of luck, you might even secure a shiny version (*).

Which raids are particularly worthwhile? In June, you can expect raid bosses that you have previously secured in raids. Many legendary monsters like Yveltal, Thundurus, and Zapdos are making a return to the game. Together with Mega Tyranitar, Mega Charizard, Mega Alakazam, and Mega Gyarados, they are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
